Wow!! What an amazing weekend - I didn't realize how much I have missed warmer weather until it was here for an entire weekend and we got to really enjoy it. I am so sad that it had to come to an end but I know we will have so many more fun days this summer.
Friday we didn't get to do our normal Family FriYay because Riley had a work meeting he couldn't miss so the kids and I had a pizza and movie night, which they loved. Saturday we had really fun things planned, Columbus Commons Family Day and Crew game but sadly the rain kept us from both! :( The Crew game could have happened but it kept getting delayed and by the time they started the game it was waaaayyy past bedtime and the kids wanted nothing to do with waiting from 7-9:15 for the game. Here's to hoping for no rain the next time we try a Crew game.
We made up for it on Sunday though, we started with donuts for breakfast from The Little Donut Factory in Hilliard, you have to try them...SO good. I had a meeting with the amazingly talented Amber from Little Arrow Co. (more on that later), and then we headed to The Ohio History Connection to see Ohio Village. Ohio Village is so cool, every single one of us loved it. My husband and I love history so we loved learning more about the history of Ohio, and we all enjoyed all of the fun activities.
Monday we spent the entire day at home playing on the swing set, blowing bubbles, and the kids got some really great time with just Riley while I worked really hard on the yard. We wrapped up the weekend with some time by the fire making s'mores.
Enjoy our pictures!! Stay tuned for more information on Little Arrow Co & Ohio History Connection. :)
