Mama Monday | Peapod Play Cafe | October 2016

If you live in Columbus, chances are you’ve been to Peapod Play Cafe and at the very least heard about it.  I had heard amazing things so it was on our list of places to check out and I was so happy when we finally got the chance.

We headed there for the first time over the summer for a Mommy & Me yoga class, and had the chance to meet with the owner, Chien.  She was so sweet to us as I tried to juggle a busy two year old and a five year old who was nervous and excited to try yoga for the first time.  When we left I knew that Peapod was a business I could support 100% and it’s all because of the level of love and customer service that was provided to us by Chien.  She helped make sure my little guy was safe while I helped my daughter figure out Walking Bear, she even snapped a few pictures for me when my daughter and I tried a yoga pose together, and she is a Mom Boss and I LOVE supporting other local moms working hard to make their dreams come true.

Peapod is filled with fun, modern toys that your kids can play with while you enjoy locally roasted coffee.  The toys are so fun for the kids, and as a mom I always enjoy watching my kids explore their imagination, which they can do at Peapod for hours.

One of my favorite things about Peapod besides, Chien, is the quality of snacks they offer for parents and children.  Often, I find myself running out the door to make it on time to a meeting, school drop off, doctor's appointments, etc.  I wish I was better organized but I’m not, and I sometimes forget to pack snacks.  Luckily at Peapod I can be assured that my kids are getting healthy snacks, that they would also be getting at home or if I was prepared with snacks from home.  :)

Peapod is kid tested and kid approved in our family and I’m sure it will be the same for your family.

Don't forget - Peapod is a great birthday party venue! Be sure to give them a call when planning your next party.

Are you a local Mom Boss, who would like to be featured?  Send me an email to get on the schedule.
