As a mom to three very different kiddos I am always researching for the best summer camps that will spark their creativity, get them moving, and support their individual passions. I’ve asked my friends from around town to be in this guide because I think they are the best of the best and should be shouted from the rooftops. From science, golf, art, all day camps, and so much more - we’ve got you covered. Thank you to my partners for making this guide come to life.
When school is out, COSI is in! Camp COSI Summer Camps provide the perfect opportunity for campers to stay scientific during summer break! Weeklong camps offered for grades K-8. Each camp includes 2 daily snacks and all supplies. Parents and caregivers, please pack a lunch for your camper. With topics like Robotics, Engineering, and Space, there is sure to be something for every camper!
Three full-time camps are conducted at Thompson Park Shelter, Reed Road Shelter and new this year Tremont Elementary School (due to school construction at Barrington). Children enjoy programmed recreation activities, weekly field trips, arts and crafts, games, quiet recreation, movies, swimming and library visits.

Whether you’re seeking a variety of games and activities or a sport-specific camp, Bo Jackson’s Elite Sports offers a fun, safe environment for your son or daughter. Boys and girls will enjoy learning the fundamentals of a sport. All of our specialty camps will focus on skill development in a fun, non-competitive environment. All players will be broken into age appropriate groups for each camp.

Join us at Camp Molly Lauman for memories that last a lifetime! We’re a traditional sleepaway camp nestled in the woods of southern Ohio offering two-night and five-night sessions as well as two-week sessions for older girls. We offer programs for all interests – from horseback riding and high adventure to culinary camps and spa experiences. We even have camps based on your favorite books and movies. We serve girls who have completed grades K-12, and you don’t have to be a Girl Scout to come to camp!

Nature is the touchstone for the Franklin Park Conservatory’s summer camp programs. From cultivating and harvesting a garden to creating a culinary masterpiece, summer camp at the Conservatory is anything but expected. Campers revel in an experience filled with exciting activities while connecting with nature and making new friends. The Art of Music LLC offers weekly 1-hour Art and Music experiences to children of ALL abilities (children with special needs, as well as, children developing typically) ages 1-21yrs. Columbus Academy’s Summer Experience is a great way to have fun this summer! We offer weeklong day camp programs in academics, arts & sciences, and athletics. Our Traditional program is the foundation of Nuhop's summer program. There is an emphasis on positive social-emotional experiences so campers may build skills in communication, cooperation, and independence. This week is filled with outdoor adventure on and around our gorgeous 33-acre campground. The traditional camp offers a week of adventure in which campers hike the two nearby state parks, spend time in the water (swimming, tubing, slip ‘n’ sliding and canoeing), and so much more!
The Capriccio Youth Choir Summer Institute is a fun camp open to any singer entering grades 2-12 who want to explore choral music and enhance their singing skills. You do not have to be a CYC member to attend the camp. CYC staff and guest clinicians lead the camp, where participants will enhance their music reading skills, build their confidence singing individually and in an ensemble and explore a variety of repertoire. This year, the singers will focus on music creation and world music inclusion, and they will learn from a certified children and youth yoga instructor how focusing on proper use of their bodies aids in better singing and lessens stress and anxiety. The summer institute will conclude with an performance open to the public on the last day of camp at 3 p.m.

Come join NEC for our fun and educational summer camp! Campers will enjoy riding at their skill level on our fun and safe lesson horses. They will get a solid foundation in the basics of horse care, anatomy, health, and safety. Campers will also get to make horse craft projects and snacks.
