Lego KidsFest, Columbus, Ohio

When I heard that the Lego KidsFest was coming to Columbus I immediately bought tickets for my family.  We are a huge Lego family, my kids both love Legos and that is probably because their Dad is obsessed with Legos.  The KidsFest was downtown in the Convention Center so parking wasn't the easiest with two kids in the cold but that was about the only downside we saw to the event because once you got in the doors, it was non stop fun.

Every aspect of Lego was represented so it had something for everyone.  Lego Friends, Lego DUPLO, and Legos I didn't even know existed. ;-) They also had a video game truck, rock climbing wall, and a bounce house.  I took pictures of a lot of the Lego figures that they had displayed but what I didn't get any pictures of was the really hands on building opportunities that they had there, and that's because I was building with my kiddos. E really loved the area dedicated to building castles, she did not want to see anything else. She was so happy sitting on the floor building the castles and hanging out.  Owen was too - we spent most of our times there.

Next time they are in time - you must make time to go! They sell tickets in sessions so none of the session are too full. It gives the kids the opportunity to play freely without large crowds and I give the organizers of the KidsFest major props for that! Really impressed with how organized they are.
