I’m really glad you’re here.

I created 614 Mom for people who want more connection, curiosity, joy, and intention in family life without another list of things they should be doing.

Around here, I’ll share the Columbus places worth your time, mindfulness that works in real life, creative rabbit holes, favorite finds, and the oddly specific little things I cannot help but tell people about.

I hope something here makes you feel seen, sparks an idea, or brings a little more fun and joy into the life you are already building.

Make yourself at home. I have so much I can’t wait to share with you.

What Sounds Good Today?

Let’s explore Columbus

Thoughtful local places, family adventures, and ideas for spending time together in ways that feel fun, meaningful, and worth leaving the house for.

Show me something light + fun

Life lately, favorite finds, creative rabbit holes, oddly useful ideas, and whatever is currently making life easier or more fun.

I could use a little more calm + connection

Mindfulness, meditation, Reiki, and practical ways to feel more grounded and connected in the middle of real family life.

Hi, I’m Eryn. I created 614Mom because I needed it, too.

I’m a neuro-spicy mom of four, small business owner, meditation teacher, Reiki practitioner, and lifelong collector of hobbies. Right now, photography has the floor. I’m also an iced tea snob, a Diet Coke addict, usually carrying at least two drinks, and fully convinced Aquaphor solves most problems.

More than anything, I love stories. Hearing them, sharing them, and capturing the little details that make a life feel like yours. It’s why I’ve spent more than 10 years writing on 614 Mom, why I love photographing ordinary family life, and why I help small businesses tell their stories through Wildbloom Creative.

I know how easy it is to get so busy making life happen that you forget to enjoy it. Trying new things, making things with my hands, exploring Columbus, and finding moments of stillness have helped me feel more present, more connected, and more like myself.

That’s what I share here: the places we love, the practices that help, the random ideas making family life easier, and whatever creative rabbit hole I’m currently in.

Here’s what I hope this place feels like…
A soft exhale. A little light. A reminder that you can love your people deeply and still make room for yourself.

The 614 Mom Mission:

614Mom is a heart-led platform for evolving motherhood, meaningful connection, and personal growth. Let’s go beyond the roles, routines, and expectations of motherhood with honest storytelling, local gems, mental wellness practices, and community-rooted support. We hope to make mothers feel seen, supported, and confident.

What Matters Here

Come as you are.

You do not have to prove anything here. Come curious, tired, excited, overwhelmed, inspired, or somehow all of the above. There is room for you exactly as you are.

Make room for play and joy.

I believe life gets better when we stay curious, try new things, laugh often, and fully enjoy what lights us up. Play and joy are part of a meaningful life, and they belong at the heart of 614 Mom.

Choose what matters to you.

I share what matters to our family because sometimes one idea can spark something meaningful for yours. Take what speaks to you, make it your own, and trust yourself to know what fits your life best.

Community means everything.

For more than 10 years, 614 Mom has connected me with incredible moms, dads, and families. I never take that for granted. I am deeply grateful for what we have built together and genuinely excited about where we go from here.

When moms feel seen, everyone wins.

Because I Was Going to Send You the Link Anyway

I love a weirdly specific recommendation. The book I cannot stop talking about. The thing that made our house run a little better. The family-preparedness find I bought after a very practical but ridiculous rabbit hole.

If we use it, love it, repurchase it, or genuinely think it is worth your money, I’ve linked it here.
