Quest To Clean Up is the only app in the app store showing kids that if you want something you have to work for it. Because of the wishlists Quest to Clean Up has access to exactly what kids are wanting.  Since we are hitting shopping season they have graciously decided to share this with us so we can be prepared for shopping this weekend (Black Friday, Small Biz Saturday, and Cyber Monday) as well as the rest of the holiday season. I’m breaking it down by age to make it as easy as possible.  

This time of year makes me really thankful for the friends and family that make up my world - the people who I spend my days with, laugh with, cry with, and some of those people I only know thanks to this blogging world. I have met some of the most amazing women through starting this 614 Mom journey and I am so thankful that they are in my life.

When I found out that there was a new Cookie Cutters that had recently opened in Grove City, I knew we had to check it out. My son loves fun places to get his haircut and is easily impressed with a car to sit in and an ice cream from mom at the end.  So I packed them in the car and we headed to Grove City for a haircut for my little guy.

It’s my favorite time of year!!!! I feel like Will Ferrell from Elf!!! I’m lucky that my kids get just as excited as I do. Tree lighting and city festivals are some of my favorite events to go to because the energy is lively, the trees are beautiful, and my kids love it. I’ve put together a list of local festivals worth going to during the holiday season. Hopefully I will see you at one or two! :)

I don’t know about you but my email is filled with promotions, sales, and other newsletters that I don’t always have time to read.  While I don’t get the chance to open every single email there is one newsletter that I really enjoy reading as soon as it hits my inbox.

My dear friend Anne found out that she had breast cancer while pregnant with her 2nd child. She has bravely shared a piece with us for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I am so thankful that she is willing to share her true feelings in hopes that it will help someone else. Anne - you are one of the bravest women I know. I admire you so deeply and you inspire me daily. I’m so lucky to call you a friend.

It’s been the talk of the town for months now...LEGOLAND Discovery Center as the newest addition to Easton Town Center and after getting to visit today, I can officially say it’s worth all of the hype.  LEGOLAND is exactly the type of business Easton has been needing - a place I can take my kids to play, a break from the shopping and eating, and a place we can spend the entire day. LEGOLAND Columbus officially opens next week and we can finally celebrate all of the fun it’s bringing to our city.  

The third Saturday of September is National Thank a Police Officer Day and a perfect way to make sure our officers know we appreciate them. We try to make sure every Police Officer we see throughout the year knows how thankful we are for them but a dedicated day to share our appreciation is a perfect way to make sure of that.
